Fair Ground Impact is a strategic community development studio that equips nonprofits, schools, and public institutions to transform good intentions into measurable, defensive results. Through equity-driven strategy and human-centered design, we build responsive programs, partnerships, and engagement frameworks with people, not for them. Turning raw community insight into lasting, institutional impact.
meet the founder
A social worker by training. A problem-solver by nature.
Siyanna Mahan founded Fair Ground Impact in St. Louis after realizing that the skill she actually wanted to build a career around wasn’t a service, it was the act of solving the problem in front of her. Trained as a social worker, she brings that same discipline to institutional strategy: start with what’s actually happening, not what’s assumed.
Fair Ground Impact’s work is rooted in the PUBLIC Method™ a framework built to move organizations from good intentions to programs people actually feel. The practice serves nonprofits, municipalities, libraries, and schools, and runs on a cross-subsidy model: institutional work funds Fair Play, FGI’s free youth initiative.
